Cheruvettukad St. Sebastian's Church is one of the smaller parishes in the Latin Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram. The majority of the parish, which has a centuries-old tradition, belongs to the Nadar community, while others are also members. Currently, there are 90 families with more than three hundred Catholics here, divided into 6 BCC units. The parish is currently led by Capuchin priests.
